Romans and Vikings both settled in this part of the Seine Valley, and in the 10th century, Rouen became Normandy’s capital.The history mystery video takes you to Rouen, the site of the burning of Joan of Arc. Images and representations of France’s famous saint are everywhere and people often ask – could Joan of Arc have been saved?

This is a different sort of history mystery activity. Normally when you are asked to be history detective you have to solve a problem by using evidence – facts and information that you discover. This time you are challenged to see if you can ‘change history’ and save the life of Joan!
